Goldsmith & Allcorn 30th Anniversary in 2009

Goldsmith and Allcorn have been serving Heathfield, Uckfield and the surrounding East Sussex area now for 30 years and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2009. Our motto is, and always has been, to "Treat Customers" as we wish to be treated ourselves".  We strive to offer customers a friendly, high quality service that satisfies customer needs', always with a smile that says, thank you for your custom, do come again.

If there is anything that a customer is not satisfied with, each and every member of staff is charged to be helpful and to resolve the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you "The Customer" goes away from Goldsmith & Allcorn feeling happy and content with our service.  Our staff is the engine that drives the Goldsmith and Allcorn car so we need to make sure that the engine is working perfectly. If it is mis-firing in any way then we need to adjust it so that it runs perfectly. Please let us know if there is any thing amiss so that we can put it right.

The first members of staff that you probably meet when interested in purchasing a car from us will be the sales staff.  The majority of our staff have worked for Goldsmith & Allcorn for the past 10 - 20 years and have a vast wealth of experience in dealing with our customers and will give you the best service (and deal) possible.

Heathfield

The sales staff at Heathfield have over 60 years experience between them. Peter Bickley who has been with us man and boy (started straight from school) for 20 years and is our Sales Consultant and Motability Specialist.   Joining us most recently is Adam Stone with over 20yrs experience, 16 with Vauxhall. Family businesses go that little bit extra for the customer, with a relaxed approach and friendly service, said Adam. Our sales team have a wealth of experience to offer excellent advice on your prospective car purchase.

Uckfield

At Uckfield there is a wealth of motor trade knowledge in the sales team and they are always ready to serve you, the customer to complete satisfaction.  Charlie Reid Uckfield Showroom Controller, who has been with us for the past 11 years and has 23 years of car selling experience.  Adam Cowing who is our Sales Consultant and Motability Specialist in Uckfield has been with us for the past 16 years.

Our service teams at Heathfield and Uckfield are second to none, from the reception staff at the counter whom you meet when you bring in your car for service or repair, to the technicians who carry out the work on the vehicles behind the scenes, they are always ready to give you a top quality service to both you and your car.

Heathfield

The staff at Heathfield, from Steve Redfern & Kym Haffenden who greet you on the reception desk to book in your car and the technicians Terry Buss, Barry Dancey, David Evans, Alan James, Derek Weller and Ben Tester (trainee) are all experienced, hard working members of staff who will ensure your car is serviced or repaired and past back to you in first class condition.

Uckfield

The Uckfield Service Team, from the reception desk are James Tiffin, Wendy Morris, Nicola Goodwin and the technicians behind the scenes are, Ken Battersby, Mick Cross, Ken Honess, Tony Mongardi, Danny Mower, Mark Oliver, David Preston and Craig Walter.  All experienced and highly trained members of staff who will look after you and your car whatever work needs to be carried out on it.

If you have any problems or need to discuss a matter regarding your vehicle you can always speak to Jim Graves who is the Company Aftersales Manager.

There are a lot of people who work behind the scenes that are never seen or heard of by most customers, but who do a marvelous job looking after all our customer needs. Most of the staff are based in the new office and workshop block in Heathfield and below is a list of staff and a summary of their tasks.

The Sales Admin Team - Lyndsey Penfold (8 years service) and Anne Spratt (10 years service), who support all the company salesman and ensure all the vehicle data is correct, order new vehicles, obtain tax discs, ensure the warranty registration is correct etc. on the vehicle - to mention just a few of their tasks.

The backroom office staff - Finance Section - Company Accountant and Accounts receivable - Denise Kerr. Customer Care/Bodyshop Admin is Diane Miles who has been with the company for 19 years and Lucy Voller (9 years service) who is the Warranty Administrator and Service Reception support for both Heathfield and Uckfield.  Also, the Customer Care team is supported by Martin Chappell (Heathfield) and Nicola Goodwin at Uckfield.  Martin also supports the Finance Section.

Before each vehicle, whether new or used, is passed to our customers they go through a vigorous preparation process. Initially, they are fully checked by the technicians and then passed to the valleting team at our prepartion bay.  Toni Cheeseman, Tom Mitchell and John Elvy ensure that each vehicle is in tip top condition inside and out and reaches the customer in sparkling condition.  Also, if you need your car to be picked up for a service or it needs to be delivered back to you after a repair or service then one of our drivers Richard Beales (Heathfield) or John Johnson (uckfield) are the kind chaps who will normally perform this task.
